Overview
Powered by Toshiba Toggle Mode NAND Flash memory, Mushkin's Chronos Deluxe can easily reach read and write speeds of 560 MB/s and 520 MB/s respectively. It is another SandForce SF-2281 driven solid state drive, joining in with Kingston's Hyper X and Memoright's FTM Plus. The Deluxe is one of two "Chronos" SSD Line by Mushkin; the other one is created with asynchronous NAND Flash modules.
The Chronos Deluxe is available in three capacities: 60 GB, 120 GB and 240 GB. The drive boasts IOPS of 90,000 which is quite high even for a SandForce driven SSD. The 3xnm toggle mode NAND Flash inside this drive is said to last longer than the 25nm IMFT that often resides in most SATA III like Patriot's Pyro. This solid state drive can accept a force not greater than 1500 G and vibrations as high as 20 G. Mushkin's Chronos Deluxe features DuraWrite technology as well as O/S dependent TRIM commands.
