Overview

RunCore Pro V is powered by a SF 1200 processor that is designed for outstanding performance. With identical read and write speeds of up to 260 MB/s, it still cannot match SATA III dives such as Patriot's Wildfire. However, it can be a great reason to leave HDDs behind and switch to SSDs.

The RunCore Pro V is available at capacities of 60 GB, 120 GB and 240 GB. It features IOPS of 30,000 at 4 KB random read and  10,000 at 4 KB random write. It is a MLC NAND Flash device with a mean-time between failure (MTBF) of 2,000,000 hours. The RunCore Pro V has a built in AES-128 bit encryption where the user can configure a password if he choose.

The SF 1200 processor allows the RunCore Pro V to have great data protection due to ECC and RAISE.  RAISE (Redundant Array of Independent Silicon Elements) significantly boost RAID on a drive minus the write overhead. Harnessing the abilities of DuraClass Technology, the RunCore Pro V has intelligent block management and wear leveling, read disturb management, as well as intelligent recycling for advanced free space management.

Reviews

  • “The RunCore Pro-V easily outperforms Indilinx-based SSDs and competes head-on with Enterprise-level MLC storage solutions. For hardcore gamers and performance computer enthusiasts, the RunCore Pro-V makes a world of difference.”

  • “The RunCore ProV 240GB SSD is the best SSD we have ever tested and the fact that it surpasses even a RAID environment in simulated true-to-life scenarios leaves us speechless. Its Crystal DiskMark 4k random disk access transfer speed of 80MB/s is also one of the highest we have attained yet and we knew that it would have a positive effect on Vantage testing.”
