The SandForce SF-1565 is a high-end enterprise variant within SandForce's first-generation SF-1500 family. It shares the same 90nm TSMC process and DRAM-less DuraClass architecture as the SF-1500, but is validated for more demanding enterprise workloads. The SF-1565 is best known as the basis for the OCZ VeloDrive, an add-in PCIe x4 card that combined four SF-1565 controllers in RAID 0 to exceed the SATA II throughput ceiling.
