Overview

The Corsair Force MP510, launched in 2019, is a PCIe 3.0 NVMe drive built on the Phison E12 controller and Kioxia BiCS4 96-layer 3D TLC NAND with LPDDR4 DRAM cache. Sequential read peaks at 3,480 MB/s for the 480GB and larger SKUs. Write speeds reach 3,000 MB/s at 960GB and 1920GB. The 240GB model is limited to 1,050 MB/s write due to fewer active NAND dies.

TBW per capacity: 200 at 240GB, 400 at 480GB, 1,700 at 960GB, and 3,500 at 1920GB. The 1920GB figure was among the highest published for a consumer NVMe SSD at the time. The MP510 was available in 240GB through 1920GB variants, all with a 5-year warranty. It was later succeeded by the PCIe 4.0-based Force MP600 in 2020.
